With over 35 years of experience in the property industry, David has a comprehensive and diverse skill set and thorough market knowledge which enables him to provide advice to significantly enhance business objectives for his clients. He has extensive experience in managing all aspects of real estate for a diverse clientele, ranging from smaller private owners to the more sophisticated Institutional Owners and Property Trusts. His expertise lies in developing and implementing holistic real estate strategies that encompass leasing, customer negotiation, major asset repositioning and refurbishment, capital enhancement, achieving world-leading sustainability outcomes, procurement, and stakeholder management.
David's professional journey has included a career at JLL which spanned over 26 years. Throughout his tenure he demonstrated exceptional capabilities in business development, asset planning and repositioning, budgeting, capital works, corporate real estate, lease negotiation, stakeholder and customer relationship management, as well as building high-performing teams. Team leadership and mentorship has always been a key focus for David, ensuring excellent staff retention rates and the ability to attract and retain high performing individuals.
His most recent role was as the Account Director for the Lendlease Commercial and Industrial portfolio, a portfolio valued at approximately A$22 billion and one of JLL's largest client accounts in Australia. He has worked and serviced clients across all sectors and geographies.
Before joining JLL, David held pivotal roles at Quadra Pacific Management Pty Ltd and AMP where he developed foundational skills that have contributed to his professional growth. From facilities management, operations, sustainability and risk, each role has enriched his understanding of the real estate industry.
